Youth came to the fore in the annual men’s handicapped doubles competition which was played on Sunday, 13th June.
Yacob Khalaf, aged 14, and Isaac Ward, aged just 12, were undefeated throughout the tournament and became the youngest pairing ever to win the Pemberton-Jackson Trophy.
Both boys play regularly for our under 17 boys tennis team and Yacob has also this year played matches for the men’s second team.
With such young talent on our tennis courts, the future is looking bright!
