Learn to play or improve your game and get back on the courts with the Norbreck Club tennis coaching team.
The Club provides a comprehensive coaching programme throughout the year covering all aspects of tennis from juniors to adults.
Tennis Coaching Team
The Club’s dedicated coaching team (pictured above) is headed by LTA Level 3 Coach Paul Bentley and supported by one Level 2 Coach Georgia Wearing, a Level 1 Coach Tyler and one tennis leader Rayan. All administration is managed by Julie, who together provide a timetable of regular weekly coaching sessions.
The team boasts 2 Blackpool Community Sports Awards Volunteers Winners and an LTA Volunteer of the Year Northern region Winner.

LTA Youth
New from November 2020, LTA Youth is the tennis programme designed to give you skills for life.
Everyone aged 4-18 is welcome; any shape, size, ability – it doesn’t matter. We just want to see you pick up a racket and have a go!

Head coach Paul Bentley has also qualified through the Toni Nadal World Mastery Tennis Coaching Programmes with the aim of bringing world-class techniques to the local community.

Summer Coaching Programme – Starts April 2024
The following times will apply, as of Nov 2023. any changes will be updated nearer to the start of the next season
- LTA Youth (Red Stage): Monday 5pm – 6pm
- LTA Youth (Orange Stage): Monday 6pm – 7pm
- LTA Youth (Green Stage): Tuesday 5pm – 6pm
- LTA Youth (Yellow Stage): Weds 5-6pm
- Performance Juniors by invitation : Wednesday 6pm – 7pm
- Adults Coaching Monday 7pm – 8pm
Cardio Fitness Tennis!
- Wednesdays: 7.15pm – 8.15pm – a great way to keep fit combines drills & games to music on the courts throughout summer season.
