Give Bowls a Go! New players welcome.
If you haven’t bowled before but would like to give it a go, come along. If you have bowled before and would like to pick it back up or join a team, join us. Bowling at the Norbreck Club is social and great exercise with some healthy competition thrown in.

Our Comprehensive Bowls Programme from March
- Mondays –
Introduction to Bowls – Beginners and Practice Session 6.00pm- 8.00pm. All welcome, bowls provided with help and tips from our friendly bowlers. Just come down.
- Tuesdays – Practice. All members welcome – come along from 10.00am – noon.
- Fridays – Afternoon Scramble Sessions – Mixed – all welcome – come along and give bowls a go from 1.30pm.
- Sundays – Club Competitions throughout the season. See What’s On Calendar, or check the link below, for dates and more information.
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Any of these mornings you can use the green up to 12 o’clock lunch time, but league matches are played in the afternoons & our usual Club Scramble on the Friday
- Saturday You can just turn up for a practice or a game on your own and use the green morning & afternoon until 4.00pm as matches start at 6.00pm.
- Please be aware the you may have to work around green maintenance, watering and cutting during these times
