The Blackpool Sports Awards 2020 were held on Thursday 5th March at the Winter Gardens.

Young club members and tennis coaches Georgia and Amelia had both been nominated for Young Volunteer of the Year Award by Head Coach Paul Bentley.

The glittering awards ceremony, organised by Blackpool Council, took place in the prestigious Winter Gardens in Blackpool with nominees from across the Town and their supporters attending for an evening to celebrate all of their achievements.

And it was fantastic news for the club with Georgia winning the Young Volunteer of the Year Award and Amelia also receiving a High Achievement Award too!! Image gallery below.

Both have also recently qualified as LTA Level 1 Tennis Coaches (pictured below) and were nominated by Paul Bentley for their contribution to the club’s tennis coaching and development programme.
