It’s been a busy end to 2019 for five young players from NB&TC, as they spent the lead up to Christmas ensuring the future of tennis at the club looks very bright.

On Monday 23rd December 2019, James Turton, Harvey Ward, Isaac Ward, Jack Crossley and Yacob Khalaf all successfully completed the LTA Tennis Leaders course to become the club’s new coaches of the next decade!

Head Coach, Paul Bentley said:

“This is a huge achievement and we’re really proud of the lads for taking this next step. They’ve all been playing for a number of years now and through this course they’re now equipped to support the club’s tennis section in the delivery of coaching sessions to our younger players of all levels.”

The boys now join Ella, Eve, Georgia and Amelia who were crowned coaches in 2018.
