Following another successful FUNdraising night on the courts on Wednesday 18th September, the Cardio Tennis regulars raised over £100 for the President’s Charity for 2019 – Trinity Hospice and Palliative Care Services Blackpool.

Paul Bentley said:

“We had a lot of fun with some hilarious costumes for this year’s ABBA theme. It’s become an annual highlight for our troop of players and fitness tennis fanatics. We’re already thinking about next year’s theme – suggestions on a postcard!”

He added:

“Thanks to everyone who joined in and came down to watch and support us.”

In previous years their tributes to Queen and Freddie Mercury, Boogie Wonderland and Elvis have made the headlines, but this year they took a chance on… ABBA!

All proceeds going to Trinity Hospice.
