Bowling Green Now Closed for Winter Maintenance 2025

Our bowling season has finally come to an end and the green is now closed for the winter months.

Sadly, for now, no more Tuesday Morning Practice, or Friday Scrambles, which we know everyone enjoyed.

Chins up, soon be Christmas, lots going on in the club and before we know it we’ll be setting our clocks forward again come March ready for a new season.

Over the past months we have welcomed many new faces on our Monday Night Give Bowls A Go sessions.
We’d like to thank all our bowlers for giving up their time helping with these sessions, making it the great success it’s been, both assisting visitors, totally new to the game and also joining in welcoming those who’ve played the game before but perhaps, new to the area.
We hope you have all enjoyed our club and the hospitality we offer.
Some of our newcomers have since joined the club and have expressed a wish to register for one or more of our teams in the coming year.
Good luck to all for our next season.
We’ll be back with GIVE BOWLS A GO next year.

Remember the club hosts many alternative oportunities for winter entertainment, Snooker, Pool, Darts, Ladies Whist, Table Tennis, Line Dancing, Bingo and Quizzes and not forgetting a great selection of drinks from our bar.

For a few hardier members and guests we have Petanque outside in summer and the winter.
