DESCRIPTION:ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING \nNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting will be held in the club on Monday 15th July2024 at 8:00pm \nOnly Full\, Half Life\, Honorary & Country Members will be entitled to attend and vote. \nThe Agenda is as follows \n\nTo read the notice convening the meeting\nTo read and confirm the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting\nTo receive and adopt the Balance Sheet and Statement of Accounts for the financial year ended 31st of March 2024\nTo consider alterations and additions to rules as posted on the notice board and as submitted to the Secretary not later than 1st July2024\nTo consider Notice of Motion as posted on the notice board and as submitted to the Secretary not later than 1st July2024\nTo elect auditors\nTo elect three scrutineers\nTo elect Officers and Committee Members\n\nAny member who wishes to raise items of business must submit a motion in writing to the secretary at least 14 days before the date of The Annual General Meeting. Such notice must state clearly the proposition which it is desired to put to the meeting. \nMEMBERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO SUBMIT AMENDMENTS TO SUCH NOTICE OF MOTION at the meeting. \nFrom the commencement of the meeting until the adjournment for the counting of votes\, the Bar and Snooker Tables will be closed \nMembers are reminded that subscriptions are due 1st of April 2024 and subscriptions not paid by 31st May 2024 are considered to be in arrears. \nNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT MEMBERS WHO HAVE NOT PAID THEIR SUBSCRIPTIONS BY 1ST JUNE 2024 WILL CEASE TO BE MEMBERS \nBalance sheets will be available in the club prior to the AGM. \nNomination lists for vacant officers and committee members will be posted on the notice board. \nPlease note that any member unable to attend\, who wishes to vote by proxy for any proposals or election of officers of the club will need to write to the secretary with their vote prior to the meeting. \nBy order of the Executive Committee \nKeith Wearing \nExecutive Chair
